Bobby Southworth vs. Chris Leben
The blueprint for rowdy drunken behaviour in The Ultimate Fighter stems from a now infamous night of heavy drinking during the debut season, which led to a verbal altercation between Chris Leben and Bobby Southworth.
As the two barked back and forth at each other, Southworth branded Leben, “a fatherless bastard,” a cruel jibe that clearly hit far too close to home for ‘The Crippler,’ who had grown up without his dad.
So much so in fact that soon afterward, the now utterly dejected Leben was seen trying to smash a beer bottle down on his own head.
The drunken Leben continued to drown his sorrows and then later that night attempted to sleep outside on the front lawn away from the other housemates.
However, despite his inner turmoil being clear for all to see, Southworth and Josh Koscheck continued to antagonize him by soaking Leben with a garden hose as he slept.
Leben went on the rampage afterwards, kicking in the front door of the house, smashing a window and breaking a bedroom door.
