Son was convicted in 2008 on a felony vandalism charge, sounds placid enough, but once his DNA was run through the system it led to a harrowing match. Son’s sample matched that found on the body of a rape victim 18 years prior, who was left near death after a brutal assault by Son and an accomplice. The charges laid out for Son’s abduction, torture and rape of the woman were sickening, and included sodomy by force, and sexual assault with the barrel of a shotgun.

The deplorable scumbag was sentenced to 17 years in maximum security prison for the assault that occurred on Christmas Eve 1990, but was then upgraded to life without the possibility of parole for murdering a fellow sexual offender while imprisoned in Orange County, California.
