4. Kimbo Slice

The legend who is Kimbo Slice wasn’t even meant to be a fighter. He was a talented young footballer, even winning a partial scholarship to the University of Miami. Although he did make the practice squad of the Dolphins, his football career reached a dead end. That’s when he started street fighting.

Bas Rutten took Slice under his wing and he instantly became a cult hero. Although his MMA record is patchy, Slice had a very entertaining personality and was a true warrior. Now the late fighter’s son is on the Bellator roster.
