The GOAT can do anything… Check this out…
Artem Lobov is the GOAT as we all know. The former UFC fighter is now a bare-knuckle boxing maestro. After putting Paulie Malignaggi to his sword a few months ago, he’s been keeping his head down. But now, he’s ready to come back with a vengeance.
During his time off, Lobov has been letting his wounds heal and allow the human population to recover. ‘The Russian Hammer’ has even had time to let his hair down. In all seriousness, one of the biggest sacrifices a fighter has to make is missing social events.
Believe it or not, before Lobov started fighting he was a ballroom dancer. He’s actually classically-trained. Watch Lobov show off his moves at a wedding in Italy. If he showed that athleticism during his UFC run, he’d be a champion by now.

Now, Lobov is trying to goad his last opponent Paulie Malignaggi into a rematch. He actually wants to fight the former WBA champion on his own turf. The crazy thing is though that he’s up for fighting on the undercard of KSI v Logan Paul II. Yes, that’s a real thing. Former WBO champ Billy Joe Saunders is already signed up to fight on it. Lobov told the MacLife:
“I’ve heard that he hasn’t stopped complaining, but if he wants another go, I would be more than willing. Let’s do it again. He can try it again. I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on him and giving a few more digs. It’s something that I don’t think I would ever get sick of, so why not? Or if he doesn’t want to do it in the bare-knuckle, we can do it straight up boxing. Why not? Maybe me and him could be another fight, this time a real fight on the Logan Paul and KSI card.”
“There are some boxers on there, as well,” said Lobov. “That card is making a lot of noise, and I need some real fights, a legit fight, and me and Paulie would be that fight. We can box on that card easily.”
Lobov isn’t planning on staying out of action for much longer. He might be the subject of fun and derision, but he’s a true fighter’s fighter. He’ll take on anybody, anywhere, as long as the paycheck is decent.
“I will be fighting either end of November or early December, and it will be bare-knuckle,” Lobov said. “All the details will be released very soon because we’re still working at the moment on where it’s going to take place. We’re trying very hard to make it in Boston. I would absolutely love to put on a show for the Irish-Americans. What a great city that, is and I have a few Irish fighters in mind that could share the card with me.”
You’ve got to love the GOAT.
