Stephan Bonnar

Though Stephan Bonnar never won a UFC title, he is still a member of the UFC’s ‘Hall Of Fame’ thanks to his all-time classic TUF 1 Finale fight with Forrest Griffin back in 2005.

However, despite enjoying fan adulation and opportunities to work in front of the camera, Bonnar has squandered his opportunities.

As early as the second time he fought Griffin in 2006, Bonnar was already faltering, testing positive for the steroid boldenone, leading to a nine month suspension from the sport.

Then in 2012 at the tail end of the his career a short notice fight against Anderson Silva led to Bonnar again testing positive for steroids, this time drostanolone.

Lambasted by his friend and boss Dana White, the humiliated Bonnar announced his retirement from the sport afterwards, though he would eventually fight one more time for Bellator.

However, even in retirement Bonnar’s reputation has once again been tarnished after it emerged just this past week that he had been arrested for Driving Under The Influence for the third time after driving erratically in Las Vegas.
