The 2023 PFL Championship has finally concluded, giving us some expected and some surprising results in various bouts.
To start, Olivier Aubin-Mercier defeated Clay Collard, giving the former his second consecutive PFL lightweight championship. Larissa Pacheco also made a memorable mark in the event after becoming the first-ever two-weight champion of PFL. The recent win marked the female fighter’s tenth consecutive win, allowing her to maintain her current winning streak.
There were also some memorable performances in the event. Aside from Magomed Magomedkerimov’s submission win over Sadibou Sy, some incredible event highlights were the performance of Biaggio Ali Walsh, who faceplanted opponent Joel Lopez with a brutal knockout. Kayla Harrison also made a successful return to PFL after defeating Aspen Ladd via unanimous decision.
