Wow! After one of the hottest weigh-ins in UFC history, Holly Holm and Miesha Tate collided at UFC 196. Check out what happened here…

It’s been a crazy night in the MGM Grand Garden Arena so far, as fans prepare for one of the biggest fights of the year so far. Conor McGregor will face Nate Diaz in the UFC 196 main event, but one fight flew under the radar because of this.

Women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm fought Miesha Tate in the co-main event slot, looking to make the first defense of her belt. ‘The Preacher’s Daughter’ won the championship with a stunning knockout victory over Ronda Rousey in 2015.

The fight started off cagey, with both women trying to measure range with the strikes. Holm looked comfortable, and was light on her feet as she bounced around ‘Cupcake.’ The tide started to turn in the second round though, as Tate put Holm on her back and started hammering the champion with elbows.

We hadn’t seen Holm in this position before, as she was being dominated on the ground. The Las Vegas crowd began to chant and cheer for Miesha Tate, and Joe Rogan said he thought Holm was uncomfortable in this fight.
