Juvaunne Gordon
26-year-old amateur fighter Juvaunne Gordon tragically passed away back in April due to a fatal car crash.
The up-and-comer, who had compiled a 4-3-1 MMA record as an amateur and was coming off a decision victory at a ‘Guts And Glory’ event on March 3rd.
However, just over a month later in the early hours of April 20th, Gordon, who was known as ‘Maica’ due to his Jamaican roots, was killed when the Nissan Altima he was driving crashed and struck a power box.
Gordon was ejected from the car upon impact and was declared dead at the scene of the accident.
A preliminary investigation into the accident later revealed that speeding was a factor in the crash.
