4. Alberto Del Rios
Before Mexican Luchador Dos Caros Jr. joined the WWE and became Alberto Del Rios, he competed in mixed martial arts, and was doing fine until he ran into Crop Crop’s head kick.
Del Rios racked up a 3-2 record in the Deep promotion before making his debut in Pride against Cro Crop. Coming from a family rich in Lucha Libre tradition, Del Rios successfully petitioned to be allowed to wear a modified Luchador mask while competing.
A vicious left head kick from Cro Crop ended the fight early. Del Rios would lose his next fight in Pride as well, and would never fight in Japan again.
