There aren’t many featherweight women on the planet that can compete with Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino. The current Invicta FC featherweight champion has been demolishing her competition lately.
Cyborg finally crossed over to the UFC earlier this year, although it wasn’t the grudge match with Ronda Rousey that we’d all hoped for. Facing Leslie Smith at UFC 198, the Brazilian striker lived up to her nickname, terminating her foe in one round.

The fight with Smith was at 140 pounds, and now her future is somewhat unclear. Recently calling out Miesha Tate for a catchweight bout, Cyborg is apparently going to make at least one more defense of her Invicta title before returning to the UFC.
There’s been a lot of talk about male vs. female fighters over the years. Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey was constantly compared in a fantastical fight with boxing great Floyd Mayweather.

Eventually that whole debate ended when Holly Holm claimed Rousey’s scalp at UFC 193. That said, it’s still an interesting point of conversation. Of course Cris Cyborg has been there and done it many times already.
