Michael Bisping Body Changes

These photos from left to right are: Bisping in his very early UFC career, Bisping after UFC 100, and Bisping after beating Rockhold for the title.

These photos are clear evidence that Bisping’s body has been through some drastic changes. Changes that UFC veteran Forrest Griffin would never approve of: he shaved his chest hair. For shame Michael Bisping, for shame.

Chest-hair shaving is currently allowed by USADA however.

Other than that it is pretty clear that Bisping’s body shape has not changed more than what you would normally expect from someone as they age.

Dan Henderson Body Changes

In wonderfully ironic fashion, Henderson’s last fight before receiving a TRT exemption was against Vitor Belfort in Pride. Henderson was either on steroids for this fight or is the most ethical fighter ever in the history of that company. I’ll let you decide which is the case.

VITORHENDO
(I wonder if they swapped TRT recipes afterwards)

Here are 3 photos of Henderson side by side over the years. The first is his weigh-in photo from Pride 32 (36 years old) then his weigh-in photo from UFC 100 (about to turn 39) and the last one is from UFC 199 (45 years old).

There really isn’t a lot there in terms of body frame changes, which are the tell-tale sign of human-growth hormone. He does look a little more ripped at 39 than he does at 36, which would be expected considering he got his TRT exemption the year after the picture on the far left. On the whole however, it does not appear there is photographic evidence that Hendo’s body shape has changed throughout the years, at least not more than you would expect from someone as they age.

The real issue with this fight coming up is that Hendo is 46 years old, he is hardly in his athletic prime. You can also argue that at 37 years old Bisping is still fighting as good as he ever did.

Bisping should retain the belt at UFC 204, but only because Hendo is a middle-aged man now, not because he’s no longer on TRT.
