UFC 200 is now just eight days away, and fans of mixed martial arts have a seriously star studded event to look forward to. After the wild success of UFC 100 back in 2009, the promotion has gathered all it’s available drawing power for July 9.

Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz were originally set to rematch in the main event, but when that fell apart Daniel Cormier vs. Jon Jones 2 was announced as the headline attraction. But truthfully it’s the co-main event that has everyone talking.

Brock Lesnar vs. Mark Hunt serves as the UFC 200 co-main event
The return of former UF heavyweight champion and WWE superstar Brock Lesnar has been the topic of much debate. He’ll face K-1 world champion Striker Mark Hunt in a highly dangerous pairing.

Hunt’s ability to end the fight with one single punch makes him the most lethal heavyweight in UFC history, but the USADA (United State Anti Doping Agency) testing of Lesnar has sparked quite a controversy.

It’s not that USADA are not testing Lesnar, as they’ve visited him five times since he re-signed with the UFC, but he did receive an exemption of sorts. Normally a returning fighter would have to undergo four months of testing before fighting again, but he UFC and USADA granted him a waiver given the short notice of his comeback.

Then came the crazy UFC 200 media call, where Lesnar confronted the steroid accusations with a memorable and hilarious rant.
