Former UFC bantamweight champion and new WWE signee Ronda Rousey continues with her strange antics. This time she gets sassy and sarcastic with a TV host’s question about fighting…
Ronda Rousey underwent quite the transition in her athletic career. Going from a bright-faced Olympic medalist in Judo to a feisty undefeated champion in MMA, now to a newly signed pro wrestling superstar.
Albeit a wild ride that has now seen ‘Rowdy’ take up what she described as her ‘dream job,’ it has been far from the perfect journey. For most fighters, having a run as undefeated champion, setting multiple records and only losing twice is an incredible achievement.
For Rousey, those two grueling back-to-back losses were simply too much to take. She has never openly admitted it, but Rousey was knocked out of the octagon and into retirement in absolutely shocking fashion.
Truly unlike anyone we’d seen at her level in MMA before, Rousey got the hump with the entire fighting thing.

Grumpy Ronda
She may have taken the losses and humongous backlash on social media to heart, but surely she has left all that behind her now? Well, it’s not always that simple. Rousey just can’t seem to keep her emotions in check about the end of her fighting career.
Perhaps that sassy trash talking persona was just a character she created, or maybe that was actually Ronda Rousey we saw. Whatever the case, that sarcastic, gruff and awkward version of ‘Rowdy’ is here to stay.
Check out her latest TV grump, as she sasses a TV host’s question about her MMA career even though she clearly knows what is meant:

“‘There’s a possibility that I could go back in time?’ That’s your question to me?” Rousey replied. “I do not have the ability to go back in time, no.”
Come on, Ronda, just talk about it once without being a dick and people might stop asking you about your UFC career. The reality is that Rousey is likely just too fierce a competitor to face her loss.
That said, there have been many great champions fall from the top and do it with grace.

The Other Option
Maybe, just maybe, Rousey has been keeping up this wall of silence followed by bitter outbursts to keep all the media attention going. I kinda felt stupid writing that, but stranger things have happened.
Like Coach Edmond training Rousey’s striking and cornering her during UFC title fights. Now THAT is fucking strange.
