The MMA world was turned on it’s head last night as UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor called it quits on his fighting career. He was booked in to rematch Nate Diaz at UFC 200, but something has obviously gone wrong.

After taking his first UFC loss against Diaz at UFC 196, McGregor seemed determined to get back to action as soon as possible. It was just weeks after his March 5 loss that ‘The Notorious’ was booked face Nate at welterweight again, and his sudden retirement is both shocking and confusing.
