‘The Notorious’ one seems to have landed himself in a spot of bother according to this report…

During an insane 12 months for combat sports, Conor McGregor went from MMA to boxing’s biggest stage. Facing Floyd Mayweather in one of the most unlikely boxing matches ever, McGregor came away a very rich man.

Just one year earlier ‘The Notorious’ was competing in a 170-pound rematch against Nate Diaz. The two shared a bitter rivalry dating back to UFC 196 on March 5. Diaz, on just 12 days notice, submitted McGregor in a crazy brawl.

The rematch wasn’t the only ruckus that followed UFC 196. One of the most memorable moments of the year came during the UFC 202 fight week press conference. McGregor and Diaz lost their heads during a wild confrontation.

Monster energy cans and water bottles were thrown, creating an instantly viral moment that just added to the hype for their rematch. Apparently, McGregor’s fine from the NSAC might not be the only price he has to pay for that night.

Conor McGregor’s energy drink apparently clocked a security guard, and now he wants payment…

Security Guard Launches New Lawsuit Against McGregor

According to The Sun UK, one of McGregor’s missiles cleaned out a security guard at the UFC 202 conference. Why this report has only surfaced now is unknown, but this guy is demanding some cheddar for his injuries:

“Security guard William Pegg is suing Notorious after claiming he was struck by the can.He claims that he was hit in the back of the head, near his left shoulder.

And he says that he incurred medical expenses of around £3,800 after requiring treatment for his injuries. Pegg is now chasing damages and believes he is entitled to at least £72,000.”

$72,000 seems like a strange amount to demand, but check out the guy’s bizarre maths below…

$72K? That’s probably chump change since McGregor’s super-profitable rumble with Mayweather…

11 Million Divided By 166

In the lawsuit he states that McGregor collected £11m from his fight with Diaz, which saw him “significantly” struck by his opponent 166 times.

Pegg divided the £11m fee by 166 and arrived at the £68,000 – with the extra £4k coming from medical expenses.

McGregor’s lawyers have filed a response to deny any responsibility.

Again, it does seem extremely odd that Pegg waited until over one year later to make this suit public. Either way, another day another lawsuit for McGregor, who has already been sued by a car rental mogul.

“They’re coming after me lucky charms”

Meanwhile in McGregor’s MMA Future

Diaz part 3 is on the books:

“I’m the 155-pound champion. I faced him at 170, he beat me, then I rematched him at 170, I beat him. Now I’m the 155-pound world champion, now if he wants that fight, he must come down — that’s a fair trade. I didn’t ask for the rematch at a lower weight, I asked for the rematch at the exact same weight. I thought that was a fair play move on my behalf and I came in and I won. So, now I won that and I won the 155 title after that, so if he wants the fight he has to make that 155-pound limit.”
