Conor McGregor Suspended For Six Months After UFC 194

You’ve got to be kidding me…

Sometimes, following the UFC and mixed martial arts in general can be quite frustrating. It was a crazy year of waiting for Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor to finally fight, and it was filled with absurd amounts of hype from the UFC.

Then, after all that time, the damn fight only lasts 13 seconds! Of course we know that anything can happen in MMA, and that’s a huge part of the draw, but there’s also been some very speculative and controversial reactions to the McGregor vs. Aldo knockout.

With so much being destroyed by a single McGregor punch to Aldo’s chin, conspiracy theorists across the internet have started shouting about the bout being fixed. They aren’t the only ones who have had these feelings about UFC fights being rigged, as you’ll recall Wanderlei Silva once claimed he knew of fixed fights under the Zuffa banner.

But it seems these speculative theories are more widespread than we first might have thought. They are literally on EVERY MMA FORUM across the web.

This angry fan even took to Youtube to put his theory out there:

Hmm, not exactly the strongest argument, but he is backed up on his channel by countless comments with frustrated UFC fans that feel the same way. Weird, right?

With fans around the world calling Conor McGregor vs. Jose Aldo ‘fixed’ it’s time to address a real issue, McGregor is suspended for six months.
