The Irish star brought with him a nation of fans to watch his moment of glory, but perhaps even they would not have predicted a 13 second knockout win for McGregor. Certainly Aldo did not see it coming.

But cometh the moment cometh the man, and Conor McGregor was that man in Las Vegas on December 12th. Aldo could do little more than swing wildly and get clipped with a left hand from the calm McGregor.
