Mike-Pyle

3. Mike Pyle Retires

Mike Pyle will have his 18th UFC fight at UFC 207. He takes on Tristar’s Alex Garcia in the only other officially announced bout so far.

Pyle has quietly had one of the longest careers of any fighter. The 41-year old began fighting over 17 years ago. His first fight was a decision loss to Quentin “Rampage” Jackson back in 1999 (it was Jackson’s first fight as well). In his second ever fight Pyle choked out Jon Fitch in Fitch’s first ever pro bout.

But Pyle has never really been a contender, and has now lost 4 of his last 6 fights. The end is probably near for him and his mullet, and it perhaps could come at UFC 207.
