2. Dylan Andrews – UFC Fight Night 55

Dylan Andrews was taking on “Smiling” Sam Alvey on this night. It would be the 2nd straight fight in which the New Zealander would suffer unfortunate results. In his previous bout, he’d been unable to answer the bell for the 2nd round due to a broken ankle.

Both Andrews and Alvey ended up landing on Andrews’ head during an early takedown attempt in this bout. Sensing Andrews had knocked himself out on the takedown attempt, Alvey set about to finish his opponent with strikes, and did just that.

Andrews was released after losing his next bout as well. He finally got off the losing skid on April 1st of this year, defeating Paps Abedi. It was Andrews’ first bout in close to 2 years.
