The ghost of Conor McGregor still haunts the featherweight division, even though he has been officially stripped of the title. Despite his absence, Conor is still the UFC lightweight champion. What must it feel like for other lightweights to know that the champion of your division may never return?

Conor’s initial conquering of both divisions, followed by his absence and lack of title defences, makes the LW and FW divisions feel like the LHW division does without Jon Jones.
