1. No USADA Suspensions
Finally the most important reason an MMA promotion that allowed steroids would be awesome, is because there would be no suspensions!
In the last couple of years we have been denied the opportunity to watch fights by Jon Jones, Brock Lesnar, Nick Diaz, and Lyoto Machida because they were serving suspensions. We were even denied Anderson Silva for a year because of a suspension. At his age there aren’t many fighting years left. We also lost Chael Sonnen for 2 years because of a suspension. Wanderlei Silva and UFC’s relationship will never be the same as a result of a USADA test, and Tim Kennedy will one day kill a drug-tester on his property. This is no way to run an MMA promotion!
Perhaps Lyoto Machida is right about USADA…
