2. Legends Can Fight Longer

With a little help from PEDs, perhaps we would get to see Dan Henderson fight at 56!

Performance-enhancing drugs would allow legendary fighters to continue to be competitive longer into their careers. We just lost Miesha Tate to retirement at 30. MMA fans should be worried that top fighters appear to be getting out of their careers as early as they can nowadays.

In addition to helping a fighter’s performance, many PEDs help the body from breaking down due to the effects of aging. Additionally, allowing fighters to use PEDs will help them come back after injuries quicker, something that becomes more of a problem for aging fighters.
