1. WME-IMG Is In A “Talent-Agency War”
Remember the Mixed Martial Arts Athletes Association? Every fighter involved with the group just so happens to be signed to a rival talent agency to WME-IMG, the Creative Artists Agency.
You see, WME-IMG and the Creative Artists Agency (CAA) are in a war to be the top player in their industry. That is the talent management industry by the way, not MMA. CAA are bank-rolling the fighter’s association because increased rights for fighters means decreased profits for WME-IMG.

If profits from the UFC aren’t high enough it puts financial strain on WME-IMG. CAA would then have more money than their competitors to use to woo potential clients. Thus, decreased UFC profits potentially lead to increased ones for CAA.
The top reason the UFC is at risk? They have a multi-billion dollar company (CAA) actively trying to sabotage them.
