3. So Long Mike Goldberg

Not everyone likes Mike Goldberg’s style of announcing. Yes, he says some bizarre things sometimes. Other times he just seemed like he was watching a different fight altogether. But he always came across as a really passionate fan of the sport, and whenever he made a mistake Joe Rogan was always there to correct him anyway.

If they wanted to take him off the PPV broadcasts and bump him down to the smaller shows that is one thing. Even if they wanted to part-ways with him altogether that would have been fine. But to let the guy’s contract run-out and not even give him so much of a send-off for his 15 years of service is an insult to those fans who enjoyed listening to him all those years.

Mike Goldberg, love him or hate him, should be inducted into the pioneer wing of the UFC Hall of Fame. No one can deny that he has been a pioneer for MMA broadcasters.
