Mike Goldberg: “Pretty much”
I’m going to come to Goldberg’s defence on this one. This was at UFC 76 and it was Nakamura’s first time fighting in the UFC. He was also coming from Pride, where a ring was used, i.e no fence. When Nakamura first entered the cage he started running his fingers over the cage, and then just continued to do it while neither Rogan or Goldberg was saying anything. Eventually Goldberg just kind of pointed out what he was doing. It just came out very awkwardly is all.
