Did you know Mike Goldberg once broadcasted a game for the NFL? He never broadcasted a second. Evidently the NFL, and its fans, were less forgiving of the occasional mistake than UFC fans are.
He called an NFL game on October 12th 2014, and was never asked to call another one. He repeatedly referred to Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer as Don Zimmer. Afterwards Goldberg got into it with some of his critics on Twitter regarding his performance.
