Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is officially a WWE superstar now. After making her first appearance during this week’s historic Royal Rumble show, ‘Rowdy’ is again the subject of heated debates…

Ronda Rousey’s historic run in the UFC came to quite an abrupt end. Although she broke some heavyweight records while owning the women’s bantamweight division, it wasn’t long before the talent at 135 pounds started to catch up.

Rousey’s last recorded win was a knockout against Bethe Correia at UFC 190. Here’s where things took a turn for the worse. ‘Rowdy’ was paired against former women’s boxing champ Holly Holm at UFC 193, and it was ugly.

Although a massive favorite in the betting lines, Rousey was taught a brutal lesson against Holm. ‘The Preacher’s Daughter’ battered Rousey like it was nothing, scoring an iconic head kick knockout to finish the fight.

Lessons were not learned though, and coach Edmond remained in her corner to have Amanda Nunes end Rousey’s MMA career.

“I’m very happy for her,” he told the Review-Journal via text on Sunday night. “She loves pro wrestling and has always been a big fan so I know how much his means to her. She keeps accomplishing everything she’s ever wanted.”
