Dana White’s Gambling Habit
Rogan has been close friends with Dana White throughout his time in the UFC and has heard first-hand of the UFC President’s craziest nights gambling in Las Vegas.
“He’s lost as much as a million dollars in a night,” Rogan told his podcast guest Tom Pappa. “F*CK THAT. Dude, I wouldn’t be able to sleep for a month…”
Rogan went on to detail one particular night that involved even more astronomical sums of money.
“He won seven million one night.” Rogan revealed.
“They don’t like to pay you, they like to keep it in the casino. So they paid him in garbage bags. They wanted to give him cash, they didn’t even want to give him a bag. He had to go get garbage bags.”
White has since confirmed that Rogan’s story about him is true, saying that it happened at the Palms and he actually ‘only’ won $5 million.
The Palms would later ban him from the blackjack tables, but attempted to soften the blow by awarding him a UFC themed championship belt that declared him to be, “Palms Undisputed Blackjack Champion.”
