Nate Diaz has been talking a lot more lately. Diaz finally announced he would be returning to the UFC this summer and has since been the target of plenty of trash talk. During a strange moment this week, Diaz claimed he’d whoop Kobe Bryant…

Part of both Diaz brother’s appeal is their style of trash talk, far from average and seemingly effortless. There’s no hiding it, the Diaz brothers are from the streets and they don’t take any sh*t.
Perhaps their unwillingness to bend regarding pay has been the main factor in their lack of fighting activity lately, but it’s also what makes them all the more intriguing.

Nate Diaz is Coming Back, But Against…?
The ever-present trilogy fight against Conor McGregor is much more possible now, given recent events. Should Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov make it to their UFC 223 date, the undisputed title will be on the line.
Regardless of who Diaz fights in his long-awaited return, it will certainly be a big night. Meanwhile, Diaz has been trolling Kobe Bryant on Instagram. Yep, the NBA star posed with former UFC bantamweight champ Cody Garbrandt only to get called out by Nate Diaz.
Here’s the pic, and check out the top comment on the right-hand side:

OK…
Unexpected, certainly, and the comment from Nate Diaz was met with hundreds of responses from entertained and also annoyed IG users. His announcement with the slogan ‘from the real champ’ also caused a big stir:
“Sick of sitting around waiting for you f-ckers to do shit there’s no excitement in this fight sh-t step your games up I’ll see u around may, June. Sincerely The Real Champ.”
Eddie Alvarez Ain’t Buying It
Per Ariel Helwani:
“The more I think about it, the more I’m like: When Conor takes a break, Nate takes a break,” Alvarez continued. “Conor’s like, ‘I ain’t fighting until August,’ and Nate’s like, ‘Well, I ain’t fighting until July,’ or some sh*t. I guess his ego doesn’t let him say, ‘I just want to fight Conor.’ Just say it. Like, just be honest with everyone. If that’s who you want to fight, there’s nothing wrong with that. But don’t call everyone out if you don’t have any intention of fighting anybody.
“You’re getting a bunch of fans excited who you’re just bullsh*tting. If you don’t want any work from any lightweight in the division, then just don’t say anything to any of the lightweights in the division and everything will be cool. But when you say things like that, you should be ready to at least fight somebody.”
