“Yeah but the rims was dope though,” quipped Diaz.
“Then I realized, ‘Wow I’m not rich at all, I better get another fight.’ Now when I meet younger people I sound like an old guy and I’m like, ‘Hey save your money, you ain’t got shit. You got nothing,” he added.
The interview lasts around 20 minutes and is pretty hilarious as Diaz talks about various parts of his life fans don’t normally get to hear, so check it out.
Diaz is scheduled for a highly-anticipated rematch against “The Notorious” Conor McGregor, the headline bout at UFC 202 set for August 20 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The two had previously met at UFC 196 after Diaz stepped in as a late replacement for then UFC lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos.
Due to McGregor’s intent to move up in weight at the time, the bout was held at welterweight with Diaz scoring the upset via rear naked choke submission.
