Conor McGregor has Been Destroyed on Social Media by Russian MMA Fighter Mairbek Taisumov After He Was Called ‘A Dirty Smelly Rat’…
Conor McGregor’s toxic relationship with Dagestani champion Khabib Nurmagamedov is well reported by now. He should probably keep away from the Russian state, considering ‘The Eagle’s’ fans celebrate his victories by firing assult rifles into the sky like mad men.
While McGregor was once extremely popular in Russia – so much so that he was offered Russian citizenship to fight in the nation – the rise of Khabib has given domestic fans someone they can all cheer for. Fedor Emelianenko might be the greatest in their history – for now – but Khabib is the most famous.
McGregor tweeted and deleted last week calling Khabib’s teammates dirty, smelly rats, after reports that a number of them would be fighting at UFC Abu Dhabi later this year. Now one of the crew, Mairbek Taisumov has responded and it’s brutal.
McCocaine the only SCARY RAT I see on this picture is YOU sitting in the corner whining and crying, calling it all business. Only things you're smashing are smartphones, busses and cocaine lines you junky! Hope to see you one day face2face⏳ #TeamTAISUMOV #McCocaine #UFCAbuDhabi pic.twitter.com/Ocf1y0OCFf

Who?
Taisumov is not the most famous of Khabib’s entourage but he is a scary fighter in his own right. Like the more infamous Zubaira Tukhugov, Taisumov is of Chechen descent. His professional record stands at 26 wins and 5 losses.
He’s currently riding a six-fight winning streak in the UFC, with only one loss under the banner of the world’s biggest MMA promotion. His most recent victory was over Desmond Green in Moscow, although he did miss weight for that fight.
It was reported in April that the UFC’s anti-doping partner USADA had issued him a six-month retroactive suspension for testing positive for stanozolol metabolites. WADA and USADA both determined that they were the result of contaminated dietary supplements. He is now eligible to return to action.

Scary Rat
Taisumov was not holding back with his Twitter response to being called a ‘dirty, smelly rat.’ He responded by directly referring to allegations of McGregor’s party drug use. He wrote:
“McCocaine the only SCARY RAT I see on this picture is YOU Sitting in the corner whining and crying, calling it business. Only things you’re smashing are smartphones, busses and cocaine lines you junky! Hope to see you one day face2face”
They’re never going to fight, but you wouldn’t bet against another brawl between the two camps in the future.

Return
McGregor looks set to return to action later this year, according to UFC President Dana White. The pair are set to hold talks next week, with Donald Cerrone and Tony Ferguson the two most likely opponents for the volatile Irishman.
Cerrone has directly called him out a number of times and is arguably the most promotable opponent he could face other than Khabib. Meanwhile, Tony Ferguson has split from the same management team as McGregor, stimulating speculation that he could be set to take on the former champ-champ.
Whatever happens you can guarantee that there will be drama. Somebody will probably end up getting arrested. Just how many nights does McGregor have to spend in jail before he gets banned from the United States? Let’s find out.
