Knight obviously watched Rogan’s Youtube show and he caught wind of Rogan’s comments about Knight’s parents. The musician turned to Facebook to air his sentiments and call Rogan out.
“Let this dude sign an agreement that lets us both get paid to train for a year, meet at a certain weight and fight,” Knight challenged Rogan. “MMA dudes think they have a free pass to talk shit to anyone because they are highly trained and dangerous in 1v1 combat. Let normal people learn that shit too and we’ll see what happens.”
Knight then said Rogan should invite him to his show, so they can meet face to face. He then went on to defend his parents.
“My mother is a devout Roman Catholic, not a meth head and Joe is loose with the pussy word but doesn’t realize that not everybody is scared of him or his bone shattering kicks,” said Knight.
Though the former Fear Factor host turned MMA commentator comfortably sits in front of cameras and merely talks about fighting, Rogan has a few tricks up his sleeves. He’s a 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu black belt and a former elite level Taekwondo practitioner.
While internet beefs are certainly nothing new, chances are Knight isn’t really serious about going toe-to-toe with a badass like Rogan. He probably just got exactly what he wanted when he shot himself in the face — notoriety.
