Now that Jalin Turner has made a momentous win against Bobby Green, he has just become more enticing to the eyes of fellow fighters in his division. Renato Moicano, who was supposed to face Turner in February, ensured that “The Tarantula” would know his intention to fight him. However, Turner didn’t take the callout positively.

According to the UFC’s “War Room” leak, Moicano was originally set to face Turner in February in a UFC Fight Night event. However, the promotion company had to make a huge change when Dan Hooker withdrew from his fight against Green at UFC on ESPN 52 last weekend. Despite many other fighters expressing interest in fighting “King,” UFC decided to push Turner to take the fight.

During his last event, Turner made a success by defeating Green via KO in the first round of their bout. This caught the attention of Moicano, who immediately challenged the victor in his recent X post:

“Hey @danawhite I saw that co main event Renato Moicano vs @JalinTurner let’s keep this fight… first round KO… no injuries… congrats turner see you Feb…. #UFCAustin @ufc.”

Turner, however, seems to be no longer interested in facing Moicano. Aside from taking a fight earlier than expected, Turner will certainly have to take months of rest before facing another opponent again, although he was almost unscathed from his battle against Green. In his recent statement, Turner also expressed his disapproval of Moicano’s “annoying” habit of calling fellow fighters out, reminding him that he’s “not Conor McGregor.”

“That fool’s been calling everybody out,” Turner said during his last event’s post-fight news conference. “It’s all he do: call everybody out. Anybody that wins, he wants to call out. That’s annoying, bro. Stop doing that. I don’t know why these fighters keep doing that. It’s corny, bro. You’re not Conor McGregor. Stop trying to have everybody’s name in your mouth. That’s weird.”
