Action movie star Jean Claude Van Damme has made a comeback in the last few years. After starring roles in smash hit movies ‘Kickboxer,’ ‘Bloodsport’ and ‘Universal Soldier,’ JCVD became a star.

That was back in the late 80’s/90’s, and for a while Van Damme fell off the grid. Openly admitting he had problems with partying and drugs, the ‘Muscles from Brussels’ took some time to recover.

He’s back in a big way now.

Classic Scene From Bloodsport

One of Van Damme’s original big hits ‘Bloodsport’ has been remade. Starring former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre, the flick actually looks awesome. For a while Van Damme was starring in some disappointing films, so this is great to see.

JCVD and the UFC legend have been friends for many years, and have finally collaborated in a remake of the 1989 classic. Until this point, St-Pierre’s action movie roles have included ‘Captain America,’ among others.

GSP vs. JCVD Fight Scene Below

The new Kickboxer: Vengeance movie stars GSP, Gina Carano, Dave Bautista, Cain Velasquez and Fabricio Werdum. As well as Van Damme, that’s quite a line up for the big remake of Kickboxer.

Gsp Got Served

Although it was just a movie scene, Jean Claude Van Damme showed he still has it. Seeing the success of the film after being released just months ago, filming for Kickboxer: Retaliation has already started.

The third instalment in the Kickboxer series is due in 2017. The film stars Alain Moussi, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Christopher Lambert, Ronaldinho, Mike Tyson and Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson. Now THAT is a super strong line up of stars for an action movie.

  1. “Although it was just a movie scene” OH COME ON.. now you are admitting to us that it was click bait .. “JCVD beats up GSP” … zz .. of course it was for acting.. ugh.. how could i give in to this click bait. put them in an octogon – GSP would annihilate JCVD at their respective walk around but in shape weights.. even though i love JCVD and don’t really care for GSP.
