MMA fighter makes a splash with an amazing body shot in his pro debut
Russian fighter Amir Elzhurkaev made his MMA debut at Absolute Championship Berkut 34 in Grozny, Russia. His opponent lasted until the 2nd round before being knocked to the floor by an incredible liver shot. The technique used by Elzhurkaev is called a two touch spinning back kick, and it is rarely seen in any form of competition because of its difficulty.
The Russian has received heaps of praise since the video was posted on Twitter following the fight on April 29. The video has already been shared thousands of times through social media. Check it out below.
His opponent, Dmitriy Tomaev, was also making his professional debut. Elzhurkaev has set the bar very high in his first fight, and will have a significantly large following when he next steps in the cage with a professional record of 1-0.
