Ronda Rousey’s Mom with another BERSERK interview…
Since UFC 207, the hype surrounding Ronda Rousey has again died down. Returning from a year-plus layoff, ‘Rowdy’ attempted to bounce back from her first ever loss, but she’d bitten off more than she could chew.
Facing Amanda Nunes on December 30, the former bantamweight queen was again dominated. Similar to the losses she’d handed so many contenders, Rousey was squashed inside one round by the rampant Brazilian.
Aftermath
Moving to movies and TV shows, the aftermath of Rousey’s second straight loss is apparent. Fighting is now a thing of the past for the ex-champ, who arguably has absolutely nothing to prove anymore.
On to the subject of her coach, Edmond Tarverdyan, and his rocky relationship with AnnMaria De Mars. Rousey’s mother and former record-breaking Judo world champion De Mars is not a woman to trifle with.
During her most recent interview, Rousey’s Mom talked about street fights, video games and even sent a threat to coach Edmond:
De Mars Gives Another Classic Interview
After already blasting Tarverdyan during a classic rant back in the day, De Mars sneaks in a simple threat to Edmond during a wild interview with LA Weekly. Check it out:
“I’m a woman that runs a gaming company, OK?” she says. “If you come try to break into my house, I will stab you and step on your heart.”
When I ask her if any men in the tech industry have ever treated her unfairly because of her gender, she chuckles and leans forward: “Now, look, does it look like it would bother me to kick your ass in a heartbeat?”

Coach Edmond Gets Warned
“I’m a Catholic,” she says, bluntly. “And if you have a problem with that, you can kiss my ass. Even if I have to kill somebody, and it won’t even bother me if a’do.”
De Mars is particularly unfiltered when discussing Ronda’s controversial MMA coach Edmond Tarverdyan (who many blame for Ronda’s back-to-back losses). She goes right in for the takedown, like the aggressive Judo style she’s taught over the years: “He better fucking look over his shoulder for the rest of his life.”
Is Ronda Rousey’s Mom the scariest woman alive? Yes, simply, but are we surprised?
