4. Dancing with the Stars
Paige VanZant’s popularity exploded following her appearance earlier this year on the TV show “Dancing with the Stars”.
The TV show is no stranger to putting professional fighters on their programming, having done the same with Chuck Liddell previously. VanZant’s appearance on the show was considered quite successful, with ratings for her segments sending a strong message to the entertainment industry that PVZ is a star. Her and her professional dance partner that she was paired with made it all the way to the finals, finishing in second place that season.
The ratings garnered by PVZ’s appearance on Dancing with the Stars was also noticed by WWE. Vince McMahon apparently offered the UFC and PVZ a deal where they would lend the company Brock Lesnar in exchange for Paige appearing at SummerSlam. VanZant turned down the appearance however, as she wanted to focus on her fight with Bec Rawlings.
