2. Herschel Walker

Herschel Walker played in the NFL for 11 seasons, was a 2x Pro Bowl selection and in 1982 won the Heisman award.

Walker was in extremely good shape when he made his pro MMA debut with Strikeforce back in 2010.  While he did look a little stiff in some of his fights, at no point did he look as out of place in the cage as CM Punk did.

When it was announced that he was going to fight for Strikeforce in 2010, he had already been retired from football for 13 years. Many were skeptical, but at 48 years of age he proved them all wrong. He finished with a career record of 2W-0L.
