3. No Holds Barred (no rules, no rounds, no judges)

The original UFC events were held under Vale Tudo rules, which is to say there were very few rules. Remember when Keith Hackney just started landing repeated shots to Joe Son’s groin? How about when fights had no time limits or rounds and just went until one guy finished the other guy?

After all in a real hand-to-hand combat situation, there are no rounds, no judges, and no rules. Even barring headbutts completely alters how a hand-to-hand combat situation would go. Being able to head butt your opponent from their full guard would certainly change things up a bit.

Sadly this just isn’t possible. It would be too easy for fighters to get seriously injured.
