5. Randy Couture- $17 Million
Nobody was ever more protective over their pay than Randy Couture was, but it seems to have all worked out for him. Twice Couture sat on the UFC’s sidelines while he was the Heavyweight Champion, as he disputed his contract with management.
But Couture’s financial success comes mainly from how he has handled his money. While he did earn some decent money from his fight with Brock Lesnar at UFC 91 (over a million buys), his other big money fights all did less than half a million buys each.
Couture took the money he did make and invested it in his business however, and now his line of Xtreme Couture gyms are successful all over the world. He has also earned some money as an action film star in movies such as “the Expendables”.
