Yes, the same Jorge Masvidal who just KO’ed Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone last weekend once fought in someone’s backyard. Before he was an established MMA star, Masvidal honed his skills in Kimbo Slice’s underground league.
‘Gamebred’ was much smaller than his opponents, like the clip you are about to see. In this video, Masvidal takes on Slice’s protege ‘Ray’ who had a pretty bad rep. Despite being smaller than his foe, Masvidal banked on his skills to earn the victory.
A rematch was said to have taken place later on, but Masvidal came out on top once again much in the same manner.
