Phoenix Jones, real name Ben Fodor, is preparing himself to fight his half brother Carlos Fodor at World Series of Fighting. The brothers have been on a collision course as Carlos is not a fan of his brothers propensity to dress up.
The pair will fight at WSOF 32, on the 30th of July in Everett. While it won’t be the first time brothers have fought in a cage it will be the first time two brothers have fought against each other in a major promotion. Sure to be a barnstormer of a fight, the Fodor brothers have absolutely no qualms in fighting each other on the biggest stage.
Carlos Fodor (10-5), has fought for Strikeforce, One FC, the UFC and now WSOF. In his most recent fight Carlos lost his promotional debut against Luiz Firmino by unanimous decision. A decorated fighter with many big fights, Carlos is the more established fighter, of the two brothers and will be looking to assert his dominance. Carlos spoke to Yahoo Sports about his brothers crime fighting,
“I think it’s a gimmick for attention, if you want to know the truth.”
