Magomed Magomedkerimov is no longer included in the PFL vs. Bellator event lineup. Fortunately for Jason Jackson, Ray Cooper III will replace his opponent.

Last week, PFL announced and confirmed the lineup of its huge champ vs. champ event, which will be held on February 24 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The lineup includes some of the biggest names of the two promotions, but as expected, just like in other events, it is taking a hit even before the date arrives. The first fighter to withdraw from the fight is Magomedkerimov due to an undisclosed injury.

In line with that, the UFC rival updated its list, replacing Magomedkerimov with Cooper III for an 182-pound contract bout. He will be facing “The Ass-Kicking Machine,” who boasts a seven-fight winning streak, with his last fight being a KO win over Yaroslav Amosov. He is the current welterweight world champion in Bellator and has also held the LFA Welterweight, Titan FC Welterweight, and VFC Welterweight titles in the past.

Cooper III will enter the cage to get back to the winning column after losing to Derek Brunson in his sole fight in 2023. He will be an interesting replacement for Magomedkerimov as he defeated the fighter in a title fight back in October 2021. Despite coming from a recent loss, “Bradda Boy” could be a dangerous foe for Jackson, thanks to his notable works in PFL, where he is a former two-time welterweight champion.
