Younger brother Ben (6-1-1), also lost his promotional debut against Emmanuel Walo, giving the ‘crime fighter’ his very first MMA loss. He has since bounced back in defeating Roberto Young and will be looking to continue the momentum he has gained. Ben has three submissions to his name, an assortment of chokes.
As the vigilante Phoenix Jones, Ben has become somewhat of a star in the sport, very young in his career and perhaps that erks his veteran brother. Phoenix Jones is the Rain City Superhero Movement. Nobody knows how much esteem that position holds but one thing is for sure, a win over his brother would certainly put the hype train in fast forward. When asked about his heroics, Jones told Yahoo Sports,
“That’s what I do. I stop fights. I stop problems. I help people. It’s who I am. It’s what I do. MMA, fighting and being Ben Fodor, that’s hard for me”
Let’s hope this fight is as exciting as it is being billed and the brothers don’t hold back.
