Tim Kennedy – Captain America
This role was formerly filled by Randy Couture, but things have changed. Couture has been banned from all UFC events, essentially eliminating him from the promotion’s comic book universe.
The new Captain America in the UFC is Tim Kennedy, who really does have the military background that the actual Captain America does. Like Captain America, Tim Kennedy doesn’t look like anything too special at first glance, but through training and discipline has turned himself into a real threat in the middleweight division.
Tim Kennedy doesn’t battle evil villains such as Red Skull however, he battles the dastardly “Soldier of God” Yoel Romero and his super-powers of being able to pause time in between rounds.
