Wanderlei Silva v Quinton Jackson
The only rivalry on this list where the fighters have fought four times, Wanderlei Silva and Quinton Jackson just can’t get enough of each other. This is a particularly vicious rivalry that has seen insults thrown, punches after the bell, dodgy refereeing and just general fury. It goes all the way back to 2003 when Jackson got PRIDE star Silva infuriated and ready to fight.
Bad idea. Silva took the wins in both of their first two fights – although there was some really dubious refereeing in the first. The second ended with ‘The Axe Murderer’ kneeing ‘Rampage’ in the head, leaving him dazed and bloody. It would be four years until they fought again in the UFC, with Jackson knocking him clean out and landing two strikes after the bell. He’d KO him again at Bellator 206. It’s now two-a-piece.
