Modern Medicine is truly something to behold, it was only a little over a month after Weidman’s gruesome injury with his fight against Uriah Hall. The first and only leg kick that Weidman threw was the end of the fight. It was similar to the injury that Silva suffered in his rematch with Weidman himself.

Many would have thought that it would take a long time to recover but it seems Weidman’s recovery exceeds expectations which just shows how evolved Modern Medicine is right now. As of the moment Weidman is walking with half of his total body weight which is really impressive if you think about it.

It is a shame that Weidman was unable to showcase his hard work and skill due to some injury, but the most important thing right now is his road to recovery. Chris Weidman is now 2-6 in his last 8 fights which means Weidman should try think about whether to continue fighting or hang up the gloves. He already has a fantastic career, from defeating a prime Silva to eventually becoming and defending his UFC title.
