1. Dada5000’s Loss to Kimbo Slice – Bellator 149
This was the most embarrassing loss suffered in the most embarrassing fight to ever take place in MMA history. That it would later be declared a no-contest notwithstanding.
As with the Ken Shamrock vs Kimbo Slice fight, and Ken Shamrock vs Royce Gracie III, this was part of Bellator’s poorly reviewed era of promoting elderly fighters.
Both fighters were gassed almost immediately into the bout. With neither fighter having enough energy to knock the other one out, the bout became a slow dance between the two. Finally, Dada5000 flailed his arms in cartoonish fashion as he fell to the ground and the ref waved off the worst fight anyone has ever seen.
Dada5000 was taken to the hospital that night where he went into heart failure and almost died. Kimbo Slice would die just 4 months later of heart failure. How exactly did this fight get sanctioned???
