Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller vs. Nick Diaz
The first brawl between Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller and Nick Diaz occurred live on TV for everyone to see back at Strikeforce: Nashville in 2010.
‘Mayhem’ had sneaked into the cage after the Diaz brothers teammate Jake Shields had just won in the main event and during the post-fight interview had then interrupted to ask for a rematch with him.
That sparked of a near-riot as millions of people watched live on NBC as members of Shield’s crew, including the Diaz’s started attacking Miller until enough security, staff and onlookers intervened to keep them apart.
Several months later the two rivals bumped into each other backstage just minutes after Diaz had avenged a loss against KJ Noons, and it seemed he was ready to go again.
“He’s coming towards me and he starts mad-dogging me!” Miller told mmafighting.com. “I was like, really? You’re really going to mad-dog me right now? You just fought for 25 minutes!
Diaz then threw a bottle at Miller, but it missed him and hit his training partner Ryan Parsons instead, leading to a pushing and shouting match before they finally went their seperate ways.
