GSP vs. Dana White
Dana White was fuming when Georges St-Pierre said he was taking time off following a controversial split decision yitle victory over Johnny Hendricks at UFC 167.
“No…You don’t just say ‘I’ll take some time off, maybe I’ll be back, maybe I won’t,'” White ranted at the post-fight presser. “You owe it to the fans, you owe it to that belt, you owe it to this company and you owe it to Johny Hendricks to give him that opportunity to fight again.”
At a meeting with the UFC President afterwards, tempers quickly flared.
“I’m not going to tell you exactly what was said, but I was very pissed off and I used a lot of F words,” St-Pierre told Ariel Helwani. “…I was very angry, they did not support me because of the testing issues for the doping, they did not support me for the anti-doping.”
St-Pierre has since claimed that he maybe returned to the UFC quicker instead of going on an hiatus for several years, if he hadn’t been treated so poorly that night.
